BJB TC-284 Flexible Foam

BJB TC-284 is a two component, self-skinning flexible foam. When cured this polyurethane foam feels similar to an auto arm rest pad.

The firmness of this foam can be adjusted with a slight ration change; at a ratio of 50/100 TC-284 is a firm, 8 lb. density foam, at 30/100 ratio, the result will be a softer feel, but the density increases. Consult TDS for more information.

The Skin thickness is controlled by material/ mould temperature, and the loading of the mould. Pigments can be added to the “B” side for developing a range of colours.

It is recommended that foam parts be crushed or squeezed after demoulding to remove residual gases remaining in the cell structure. This will help to reduce post shrinkage and aid in reducing natural odours from the foam part.
