BJB TC-5050 Blue Silicone (Platinum) 50 Shore A

BJB TC-5050 is an addition/platinum, room temperature curing silicone rubber which is blue in colour. This silicone was designed for mould making, encapsulation applications, pressure pads, gaskets, making a range of parts, and has been used to make moulds for casting low melting metals into.

With the use of talc powder as an interface, TC-5050 has been used in production with cast metal temperatures running 344°C and has been subject to temperatures up to 454°C for making a limited number of casts.

TC-5050 has the ability to withstand high temperatures making it suitable as a mask for metal spraying and welding operations.
